Time For A Change
At Gale’s Westlake we believe our backyard gardens are sanctuaries for plants and animals whose habitat we must protect. It is our responsibility to provide you with up-to-date information and products such as Seeds of Change that lead the way in preserving the integrity
of our planet for generations to come.
Seeds of Change®

In 1989, Seeds of Change was started with a simple mission: to help preserve biodiversity and promote organic agriculture by cultivating and disseminating organically grown heirloom and traditional seeds.
Heirloom seeds
are open-pollinated (meaning pollinated through natural means such as wind, insects and water) primarily of European descent. They are essentially favorite varieties passed down through generations for many reasons such as their flavor, vigor or hardiness. The best heirlooms are survivors that were successful during difficult times.
Traditional seeds refer to open-pollinated varieties that have been grown through many centuries by native peoples of the world. They are often drought and pest resistant, hardy, nutritious, and many are still cultivated around the world.
